I won't take the site off completely just because I might want to take a look at what I did here in a year or something but I can say it will almost certainly stay closed. If you are affiliated with us then you can take us off without getting pestered. Your banners will stay up though (yay XD).

Message to EC

Yes, you can take us off the sister sites bar :). I've said it once or twice on the c-box but I dont think anyone was around when I said it so if you're reading this then my other plan has worked. Muahaha.

It seems as if summer is going on for a bit too long to be good for the inhabitants. The sun just won't stop shining and the land of Shamony is clearly in dire need of rain. It's becoming harder and harder to find water and everyone's feeling the heat!

Fate's thin legs shook as she stumbled forward, the poor pillars burdened with additional work, having to carry the last quarter of her weight between them, the left hind leg nothing more then a short stump sticking from the doe's torso. This obviously did not improve her temper, so by the time Fate had walked from nearly one end of the valley to the other, the hind was practically smoldering. Vulgar words formed upon her maw, and any object front of her, living or not, was sent a fiery glare. And, I tell you, if looks could kill. The disfigured deer was at the last section of her journey. Fate had traveled across the mountain, bordered the caves, and slid down the large hills into the valley, and this was no mean feat for a deer with only three legs, and only two fully functional at that. Being a loner it was pretty hard to find some-where unoccupied to rest and feed. Fate had no choice but to make a stop at the Highground territory on her travels through the lands. Anyway, hadn't the doe decided not to notice any rules made by anyone at anytime in anyplace? If a Highground sentry questioned her...well she would spit back her resent.

This moment though, was not a time for planning or plotting. Now Fate had reached the edge of the long stretch of river that reached through the valley. Drinking from streams was hard for this deer. She had a difficult time trying to balance on three legs, while trying to drink, while also staying alert for any dangers. "Well here goes..." Was the doe's last thought, before she dipped her head toward the water.

Terri

Terri walked further and further until she reached the bottom into some kind of valley. The snow had disappeared and the ground was lushes and green and soft to walk on. In the distance Terri thought she saw another wolf. She squinted to try and see. It was a darkish figure with an animal that appeared to be dead. She ran down to introduce herself. she might even get a bite to eat. "Hello?" She said cautiously from behind. "I'm Terri. Err... Whats your name?" Terri stepped back just in case. This was a dangerous stunt to perform whilst standing on someones territory but she was a risk taker and she did it anyway.

Powerful thrumming sounds were heard across the valley as a stunning osprey gryphon made her way to the drink. Having both vocals of the lion and of an osprey, she roared in sheer delight that her wings could carry her again. She had broken her left one, but now, all was well. The wings beat stronger and faster, until she was naught but a blur in the eastern sky, which was a most magnificent blue.

With amazing eyes the color of turquoise, she scanned below her, using her perfect vision to seek out any on the grounds. She was deputy, and she was on duty. Zeroing in on a couple down below, she shrieked and flapped her massive wingspan. There was someone knew down there. She was curious as well. With a slight smile, she gracefully went into a dive, her limbs closed tight beside her.

Several feet from the ground, she strained her powerful muscles by opening her extendages. Having a satisfied expression to her beautiful features, she landed near the three legged deer, who had a noticable limp and the other whom she did not know. Towering over them at a remarkable 9.5 feet tall, she gazed down at them with fascination in her bright orbs. Silky vocals were released, almost shocking that anything so beautifully melodic could come from the vocal cords of such a huge beast. Terri... And what might be your name, Female Deer. The tone was not subject to unpleasantries, but was rather patient and kind.

The deer looked up from her drink, and a hate filled glare passed across her face. "What is it you want?" The words came hissing from her mouth, and the fae hobbled backward, away from the wolf. All her life she had been trying to avoid other animals, and Fate wasn't about to stop now.

Just as she was about to open her mouth again, another being appeared from the sky. A massive gryphon. Another being asking her name. The deer felt the creatures large orbs glide over her body. Sneering bitterly, Fate bared her teeth. "But that means nothing to you, does it?" Though this did not seem to make sense, in the deer's angry mind it made perfect sense indeed.

Way was there all this crowding and inquisitiveness? Why all the questions? The fae jumped backwards even more so, tripping on each mound of rough earth in her way.

O.O.C.- I was gonna wait for The Fairy, but I could no longer stand the wait! lol! Nonsense, your post is just fine! ;P

The massive beauty looked at the ill-tempered deer with calm eyes. Once again, her voice was simply released. Ah, that's where you are wrong, Femme. It means all the world to me that I know your dubbance. Being as you are on mine and my leaders lands. The pleasant tones rang across the small area, harking the words aloud. Looking at her with an intrigued eye, she have a little trill, like that of a sparrow when delighted.

Softly she said, Fatale, would you please not distress yourself?! I have not come to harm you, as neither has the young femme named Terri. As you see for yourself, we've not taken steps toward you. A sigh escaped her chasmed lungs as she took an average step back, as if to emphasize her point. Looking around, as if wishing for another deer of the grounds to come out and help with the situation.

Flapping her wings, she cleared the space about her, the force of the tremulous winds moving every soul away from her. She didn't want to hurt the smaller beings when she took off! Rearing like a cat, on her hind legs, she all of a sudden sprang into the sky with amazing force. It was like she was an arrow, for she was out of sight within a few moments. However, it was not long before her return.

She landed with surprising grace and settled herself down again, her beautifully decored feathers now lying flat. She sounded somewhat energetic from her flight. We are on a mountain, yes, but there is a very lush meadow exactly a mile from here. Fae, if you would like to rest where you would be in total privacy, go there, due north. With glimmering eyes, she gazed at her softly.

oo. Sorry about not posting. umm this one is a bad

Terri looked at the deer seeing fear in her eyes. She was confused. She only wanted to start a new life. Killing the first person she saw would just ruin it. "Its ok the bird is right. I don't want to hurt you and neither does she." She says smiling. Hoping that everyone could relax. "I have come here to start a new different past. If i were to hurt you at all I would have failed and i don't want to fail."

A pair of dark green eyes watched the threesome from the shadows. Pointed ears twitched in tune with whiskers. Padded paws extended razor sharp claws and retracted them over and over. A long and strong tail barely moved from its place behind it's large owner. Muscles quivered beneath silky black fur. A rough tongue escaped the dark cave full of sharp and strong teeth it was held in to run over a red maw. And all the while inside the creature's head a large brain was constantly thinking. Assessing what the individual creatures were, what the owner knew about them, if they appeared to be injured or weak, and their size. There was a wolf, a dear, clearly injured, and, what was the other called? Ah, yes. A gryphon. Half bird and half cat, but very large and no doubt powerful. The other two were smaller, however, and slower. They also couldn't fly like the gryphon. Easy prey. But still the creature waited. She was an excellent hunter, even alone, but the gryphon made her a little uneasy. She's taken down bigger prey, but they couldn't fly. They also didn't have a sharp beak. Although, they were armor plated. But still, she would wait until it either turned it's back or went away again. Then she could rely on her speed to catch her prey and get out of there before any knew what happened. Eyes watching, ears listening, whiskers and tail twitching, claws extending, nose smelling, and tongue licking, the hunter waited.

Terri turned just after speaking. She wasn't sure why. She could feel herself being watched. She turned back and shook it off. It was absurd to think she was being watched by another. She turned around again. She wanted to know what was there.
"Who goes there?!?" Terri Shouted off into the distant skies and she was sure the others thought she was mad.

ooc. This has been inactive for a while, I doubt the others will reply.

She would not reply. She would not move. She would not blow her cover. Capable of high speeds the she-cat could easily run down any land creature, but she liked the element of surprise. She liked having them wary and looking over their shoulders. Fear made prey taste better. She shifted her lithe body and waited longer. When they weren't suspecting, that's when she would charge them and take one down.
