I won't take the site off completely just because I might want to take a look at what I did here in a year or something but I can say it will almost certainly stay closed. If you are affiliated with us then you can take us off without getting pestered. Your banners will stay up though (yay XD).

Message to EC

Yes, you can take us off the sister sites bar :). I've said it once or twice on the c-box but I dont think anyone was around when I said it so if you're reading this then my other plan has worked. Muahaha.

Weather
It seems as if summer is going on for a bit too long to be good for the inhabitants. The sun just won't stop shining and the land of Shamony is clearly in dire need of rain. It's becoming harder and harder to find water and everyone's feeling the heat!

Name: Death Jackal

Appearance: Death Jackals have long narrow bodies with long legs used for quick speeds in underground tunnels and caves. There necks are also very long and narrow, it supports a small head with a muzzle close to the face. Their muzzles are dipped in maroon red and covered in golden swirls, their eyes have no pupils but Death Jackals are far from blind. Their ears are very long and the base it covered in white specks and fur. The ears are like radar plates as they easily pick up the sound of there prey. Death Jackals have long, skinny tails, tipped in golden and red fur, which look like flames.

Class Mammal, Feline

Habitat: Death Jackals prefer to live in dark areas such as caves. They are found in heavy forested areas or on the open fields of sands. They are found in both extreme cold and hot environments. They can adapted well but they cannot live in overly wet area, it causes them to become ill and even sick form being exposed to, to much water.

Diet: Their diet is quite wide ranged from rodents to large deer. They are mainly carnivores and like to eat red meat more then anything. But they will eat plants if worst comes to worst.

Average Age: The average Death Jackal will live up to 15-20 years as a normal life-span for females. Males will usually live longer around 16-25 years. If a Jackal is amazingly health and such they can live to a recored of 34 years.

Other: They are known to become annoyed easily and that they are not afraid to bite in the event of an anger outburst. They prefer to be solo but when the time comes of needing other the Jackals will fight their pride and be a member of a group. Most the time though the Death Jackal with shoot verbal bards at anyone who annoys or bugs them. When they see the opportunity to kill they will not hesitate for a second.
If a Death Jackal is able to find a Mate s/he with usually have a litter of 2-3 pups or cubs. They will most likely die at some point between the ages of 2-4 months. Because the males will kill their sisters and siblings so only 1 or 2 pups will survive. Sometimes none. The males are born with the will to kill so they can survive, the females are the same way but they are more likely to die because they are born with out there fangs. It takes them two weeks after birth to be able to have a full set of adult fangs.

Name: Gryphon

Appearance: The gryphon is a majestic, but unusual looking animal. However, they are all the same in their basic structure. The first part of the large gryphon from a little past the elbows and forward towards the head, is the body of a bird. This consists of the bird's head, chest, legs, and talons. Then, a little above the shoulders, there lies they large wingspan. Now, there isn't any limit to the breed of bird, for there has been from hummingbirds to vultures, from toucans to eagles.

Well, the other half of the body is usually that of a cat, but there's other types of animals. Their have been the tiny hummingbird gryphons with their lower bodies being that of a mouse.

The weird thing about these gryphons is their size. For some reason, their genomic chromosomes have made them either very large, or very small. What I mean by this, is that, only a few breed of gryphons are small and have the body of tiny animals, mostly mice, rats, and the occasional rabbit or such. These breeds include hummingbirds, sparrows, robins, larks, swallowtails, and other birds of that range of size. However, any other bird bigger than that has the gryphon body that is even larger then a tiger's. Wierd, eh?

It doesn't matter what other animal half or bird half they have, female are a little smaller than the size of an elephant, but the males are actually a few inches taller than elephants. It doesn't matter what the halves are, e.g.; an female osprey gryphon with the other half of her lean bodice being a clouded leopard would tower around 8 feet above the ground.

And because of their massive stature, they have a porportionate wingspan. Wingspans start around 35 feet, from tip to tip. Another thing, they are commonly the same color as their bird and animal parts, but there are just as many that come in different colors, such as blue, red, purple, and such.

Class Mammal/Bird

Habitat: Gryphons can really live anywhere, except a dense forest. They prefer an open sky, so they might live in the grasslands or near the mountains, but they don't particularly like forests, unless they have lots of spaces between trees. And their favorite trees to roost in are the gargantuan redwoods, and if one is lucky, you might be invited to see or sleep in a gryphon's famous nest, which is around 100 feet in circumference!

Diet: Actually, they are omnivores! However, they have a favorite meat that the love to eat. They think it's especially tender... cats!

Average Age: The average age of a gryphon is like a human's: 70. But if they are lucky... there's a chance they could live to 83, but that in itself extremely hard.

Other: Courtship is something very spectacular to watch. A pair will fly around in the air, doing aerobatics high above the many spectators that will watch. After competing for each other's affection, they meet, close their wings, lock talons, and dive. About 150 feet in the air, they will spin so that the male is on top. This way, if they didn't open the wing, the female dies first. This is the ultimate act of trust, for if the male isn't strong enough or isn't quick enough, both gryphons die. But usually, about 25 feet in the air, the male opens his wings and saves the female, now his mate, and they fly off together to reproduce.

I K O A ; ;

Name: Ikoa

Appearance: The Ikoa looks kind of like a dog and has a large snout. They also have large ears which bend forward gradually. They have a long tail that is ideal for balence when running or swimming. The tail is about 60-90cm, it varies from Ikoa to Ikoa. It has long, thin legs to escape predators, and catch prey, althought it's paws are quite big to sense vibrations. They have sharp claws to scare away predators. Most have a brown or yellow coat, or maybe some shade inbetween xD Ones with browner coats tend to stick to the forest, while ones with sandy coats stick to beaches and deserts.

Class: Mammal

Size: It's tail can be from 60-90cm, it has no wings...It about the size of a normal dog which is.... 3 foot from it's snout to the beginning of it's tail (Not the end, mind) It's legs (From it's paws to the shoulder is one foot.

Habitat: It can live almost anywhere, actually, except snowy climate. It has a think coat so it's best suited for the desert or beach, but it also burrows so that will keep it warm in forests. It can swim underwater for up to 10 minutes.

Diet: It rarely eats meat, it's favourite food are berries, but they don't fill it up so it either eats leaves or small animals. It probably won't be able to bring down a lokor by itself, but in a group they would.

Average Age: Average age is about 10 years, it would be very lucky to live anymore than 15 though! xD

Other: It burrows to nest, and it is pregant for 2 months.

R O T H E N C L A R ; ;

Name: Rothen Clar

Appearance: The Rothen Clar come in all natural colors, but can be mixed together to form very strange color patterns. The Rothen Clar have the basic figure of a lion or tiger, and are about the size of a Siberian tiger. They have pointed ears, however, like a house cat.

Class: Mammal

Size: They stand on average 3-4' at the shoulder, depending on gender. They are, at largest for females, 5' long with a 5 foot tail. They have massive heads and paws that contain 5" canines and 4" claws.

Habitat: Their home land, my island of Adariah, has all types of terrain so that the RCs could adapt to every terrain there is. Their vast intelligence, immense strength/endurance/stamina, and will power make them able to adapt to any terrain and act quickly in any situation.

Diet: While primarily a carnivore, their digestive system can change itself to allow them to consume vegetation if need-be.

Average Age: They usually live an average of 50 years, but if life is easy they can live up to 80.

Other: They can howl like a wolf, but it is louder and more eerie. They only need 6" of their long tail to stand on to attain more height. They can stand on their back legs and achieve 7' in height. Their jaws can easily crush a man's skull to pieces, and their paws are strong enough to do the same. They can roar as well as purr due to their unique vocal cords. The Rothen Clar can easily run 60 mph, but their top speed is about 100. To achieve this speed they flatten their ears, tuck their tail in the best they can without tripping themselves, and extend their claws, all in less than a second. They live in a "pack" society, not unlike a wolf pack. But the kits go through serious training so that they can be a useful member of the family. If the kit is less than average it is left on it's own to survive or die at the will of Natsala; Mother Nature. The males are smaller, weaker, and submissive to the females, but they are not to be provoked by other creatures. All have a short temper, save for a few.

Z A V E R A ; ;

Name: Zavera (Saber-Fanged Cat)

Pronounced: Say-werh-ah

Appearance: Can come in many different colors, here is a list and rarity level of the colors. 1.White w/ tan tripes - common
2.Silver & gray patches/spots - uncommon
3.Black w/ white rosettes - very rare
4.Blue-gray with white rosettes and black stripes - unique, extremely rare and hardly ever found
They look much like a wild cat, larger than a Serval, only longer legs and a thin, long tail used for balance when climbing trees. They are typically very lithe and lean, a bulky one is very, very rare. Zaveras resemble Servals in a way, only their snouts are longer and pointed, and their ears are tall and triangular.

Class: Mammal

Size: Females weigh usually 70 pounds, and stand at 30 inches. Males weigh about 100 and stand at 40 inches. The male's two "sabers" are about 8 cm. long. Female's "sabers" 4 cm. long.

Habitat: They can live in just about any habitat besides deserts. Zaveras are very adaptable and capable of other habitats, though they usually live in trees and only come down to get at a carcass or hunt.

Diet: They are scavengers. They will eat the rotting carcass of just about anything and think it's delicious. Only when they find no dead carcasses to scavenge off of, do they actually hunt. When they do hunt -- very rarely -- they usually kill the rats, mice, small birds and such.

Average Age: The average age would be 13 years, but if it is very, very lucky, perhaps they may live to be 20. But that is extremely rare, due to the fact as when they are 13 years of age they usually fall sick to an uncurable disease.

Other: They climb trees and make massive nests in them made out of feathers, hides, twigs, and ferns. They only pick the sturdiest, tallest tree for saftey reasons. Males have two, long saber-like fangs that they use for competition, females have shorter ones that are used for self-protection and ripping apart the flesh of a dead carcass. Both sexes have advanced jumping and climbing abilities.
