The Collaboration

CLOSED
I won't take the site off completely just because I might want to take a look at what I did here in a year or something but I can say it will almost certainly stay closed. If you are affiliated with us then you can take us off without getting pestered. Your banners will stay up though (yay XD).

Message to EC

Yes, you can take us off the sister sites bar :). I've said it once or twice on the c-box but I dont think anyone was around when I said it so if you're reading this then my other plan has worked. Muahaha.

This site is a unique bird roleplay which has just re-opened from maintenance mode with plenty of new additions to it. It is highly recommended.

Weather
It seems as if summer is going on for a bit too long to be good for the inhabitants. The sun just won't stop shining and the land of Shamony is clearly in dire need of rain. It's becoming harder and harder to find water and everyone's feeling the heat!

Sorrel was perched in an old, darkened tree, drinking in all her surroundings. The Martial eagle's brown feathers blended with the shadows of the gloomy wood, appearing to be a snaggled tree branch in the darkness. The only sign that showed that she was not a branch was he gleaming, sunshine yellow eyes, piercing the -- what seemed to be, as the trees blotted out the sun -- night.
Sorrel hadn't eaten for quite some time, thanks to her ultimate finicky nature and picky stomach, so she was desperate to find some good -- and maybe partially clean -- prey. Her stomach rumbled quietly, as if it was ashamed to be hungry, and that reminded her just how hungry she was.
A small, pulsing movement scurrying behind a tree caught her eye, and using her excellent eyesight, she challenged the figure to move again. She tried to pinpoint the location of it, wanting to get this prey, but she had lost it. It was as if the darkness swallowed it up into nothingness. Sorrel shook the feeling off of her feathers that said she was being watched.
Another pulse, but this time it didn't get away, Sorrel took to the air and swooped down upon the figure, clutching it in her talons. She heard a ghastly snap -- the spine had probably broken -- and it was all over. The prey was a rather scrawny hare with blinded eyes from the looks of the pale irises.
Sorrel carried it easily to a nearby branch and began to devour the more savory parts of the hare -- the liver, brain, heart, and other organs -- before starting to shred the meat.
She looked up, as if expecting bright eyes to be watching her from the darker part of the forest. A feeling of being watched crept over her again as she stared uneasily into the shadows......
