I won't take the site off completely just because I might want to take a look at what I did here in a year or something but I can say it will almost certainly stay closed. If you are affiliated with us then you can take us off without getting pestered. Your banners will stay up though (yay XD).

It seems as if summer is going on for a bit too long to be good for the inhabitants. The sun just won't stop shining and the land of Shamony is clearly in dire need of rain. It's becoming harder and harder to find water and everyone's feeling the heat!

Kaden Follow your heart
It had been years since he had been on his lands. It looked confused now without the Protector, his father. The slaughter of him was disturbing and spontaneous, without any possible reasoning. He felt an intense fear just to be standing here on Sunground. He had travelled for days and anyone who saw him had a perfect chance to kill him for his betrayal to Sunground. He howled to alert of his arrival but finished abruptly when he was approached.

His body lumbered as he shifted all 250 pounds of him from one side to the other as he stood right before the entrance to Long Beach. His piercing black eyes eyed the long stretch of sand as his ears twitched, listening to any noises. He watched his feet as his talons pressed into the soft terrain. He lifted his foot, and shook it as the parcels of sand fell back to the ground. He glanced over behind him, and spotted what look to be bamboo. He eagerly moved towards it, and pulled the bamboo stick into his greedy paws. He reclined to sit on his massive haunches as he chewed the stick of bamboo. Delicious! thought Tayko as he ate his piece of bamboo. But, once the bamboo was gone, he was left alone and bored. He rolled onto his back, and his front paws reached for his bottom feet, but instead he fell onto his side. He giggled at this sad attempt to entertain himself. He quickly raised himself onto his two back feet, which when he was standing caused him to be six feet tall. He attempted to target the noise from which he heard the howl from. Who could it be? thought Tayko. Just then he spotted an animal. Tayko cautiously walked onto the sandy turf as the sand grains wedged into his paws. He padded softly over to the animal with a sweet expression. Once he was only but several feet from the animal, a smile tugged on the corners of his mouth. He parted his lips as he prepared to speak. Why hello there! My name is Tayko. said Tayko respectfully as he took another breath before continuing to speak. This land belongs to the sunground pack, am i correct? said Tayko as he spoke to the animal before him. The animal appeared to be a timber wolf. The timber brute though much smaller than the giant panda did not seem threatening, so Tayko decided to try to start up some conversation with him. It wasn't like he had anything better to do.

Kaden turned to face a giant. At a second glance he saw it was only a panda. "Kaden" He said. "This is Sunground Pack area. What brings you to this pack?" He said. Kade examined the ground. "I came to be Protector of Sunground just as my father was." He was ashamed of his actions, of the betrayal and he believed that coming back would heal him but had it? No It had only opened the scars. "Tayko, would you ever have betrayed your family?" He couldn't let it go. But becoming protector was only the first on his to-do list. He still had to find Terri. "Do you follow your heart?" He asked in addition to his previous question.

Tayko eyed the timber wolf as the brute spoke to him. The wolf said that his name was Kaden, and Tayko nodded to him as a greeting. Then he listened as Kaden spoke again. Kaden said that this was the sunground lands, and asked what he was doing here. Oh, I know that these lands are the Sunground lands. I am seeking a pack, and perhaps even a ranking, if that isn't asking too much. said Tayko, suprised he was telling this all to a wolf that he only knew the name of. But, then Kaden said how he was the protector of these lands just like his father before him, but as he said this, Tayko detected something a little wrong like he was hiding something. Then Kaden asked Tayko if he would ever betray his family. When Kaden asked this, Tayko cringed. Tayko had never known his parents because they had abandoned him, and he was rescued by a herd of deer who were murdered by a pack of timber wolves. I never knew my parents..they abandoned me once I was born. Then I was taken into a herd of deers who were killed by a pack of wolves... muttered Tayko quietly as the pain shown in his eyes. The protector's mind obviously was not where it should be for someone who was so highly ranked, it made Tayko begin to question wether he would want to try to belong to a pack that's protector acted such a way. But, Tayko did not want to disrespect him because that would be out of character for Tayko, so he just looked at Kaden with a bit of a confused expression.

Kaden glanced over Tayko as he spoke. "I'm sorry to hear that. I rally don't know what to say." He replied. His stomach growled. He was hungry and he started nibbling at the grass. It wasn't usual for a wolf to eat grass, Kaden knew that but he had become a vegetarian just after his love went. He looked up at Tayko. He must think I'm very strange. He thought. What would Terri think if she saw him now? She must be in a great deal of pain. I only wish she were here.
